A big welcome to Joe Costentino as part of his release of the audiobook of Drama Castle.
THE AUDIOBOOK OF DRAMA CASTLE, THE 7th NICKY AND NOAH MYSTERY by Joe Cosentino, performed by Griswold Addams
Author Joe Cosentino interviews audiobook performer Griswold Addams at the release of the audiobook of Drama Castle, the 7th Nicky and Noah mystery!
Joe: Hi, Griswold. Happy holidays.
Griswold: It’s happy indeed with another audiobook release!
Joe: Speaking of that, thanks for interviewing with me for the fourth time. People will start to talk.
Griswold: I hope so!
Joe: As usual, you did a phenomenal job performing your fourth Nicky and Noah mystery audiobook, this time for Drama Castle, book 7!
Griswold: I’m like poison ivy. I keep coming back.
Joe: As you know, in book 7 adorable couple Nicky and Noah travel with their family to a gorgeous Scottish castle to shoot a film, When the Wind Blows Up Your Kilt, It’s Time for a Scotch. Humor, murder, mystery, and mayhem ensue. Have you ever been to magical Scotland?
Griswold: I’ve never been, though it is on my bucket list.
Joe: Does your ancestry include Scottish?
Griswold: It does! That along with Irish, Norwegian, English, and French.
Joe: How did you do the Scottish accents so beautifully?
Griswold: They say that mimicry is the narrator’s greatest tool. I try to emulate as many different accents as possible. Scottish just happens to be my favorite.
Joe: As you know, the Nicky and Noah mysteries are loaded with humor, mystery, romance, clues, red herrings, and a shocking but happy ending (pun intended). Were you surprised by the numerous plot twists and turns in the novel?
Griswold: Yes, I was!
Joe: By now you must feel as I do, like you know Nicky and Noah intimately (no pun intended). Do the characters stay with you when you aren’t performing the audiobooks?
Griswold: Actually yes! There are times when they come up in conversation, or my wife will address me by one of their names in jest.
Joe: With each audiobook I marvel at how you continue to create different and wildly entertaining voices with such perfect comic timing.
Griswold: Don’t stop now.
Joe: Which character in the story was your favorite to voice and why?
Griswold: This time around it was the character Brody. His love and protection over his daughter, Lairie, reminds me of how I care for my daughters.
Joe: Which character was the most difficult to voice and why?
Griswold: The chief inspector. The whole time I had to not only imagine this hulking man in my head, but I started to imitate his mannerisms while I spoke as him, just so I could stay in character.
Joe: What was the biggest challenge in bringing Drama Castle to audiobook life?
Griswold: Timing. Around the winter holidays, we have so much more going on around the house that I am not able to dedicate as much time as I’d like to narrating.
Joe: Why should audiobook lovers buy Drama Castle?
Griswold: One, because you wrote it. Two, because I read it to them. And the best reason of all, is that Nicky and Noah make such an adorable couple.
Joe: How can audiobook fans find out more about you?
Griswold: They can keep tabs on me by stalking my Instagram profile which can be found here: @griswoldaddams and Twitter handle: @GriswoldAddams. I also have an email address which is simply email@example.com Stay tuned for next year, that’s when I will have my very own website too!
Joe: Thank you for your time and talent, Griswold. I look forward to our next collaboration!

a comedy/mystery/romance novel by JOE COSENTINO
Theatre professor Nicky Abbondanza is directing a historical film at a castle in Scotland, co-starring his spouse, theatre professor Noah Oliver, and their son Taavi. You will be applauding and shouting Bravo for Joe Cosentino’s fast-paced, side-splittingly funny, edge-of-your-seat entertaining seventh novel in this delightful series. Take your seats. The curtain is going up on steep cliffs, ancient turrets, stormy seas, misty moors, malfunctioning kilts, and murder!
Praise for the Nicky and Noah mysteries:
“Joe Cosentino has a unique and fabulous gift. His writing is flawless, and his use of farce, along with his convoluted plot-lines, will have you guessing until the very last page, which makes his books a joy to read. His books are worth their weight in gold, and if you haven’t discovered them yet you are in for a rare treat.” Divine Magazine
“a combination of Laurel and Hardy mixed with Hitchcock and Murder She Wrote…
Loaded with puns and one-liners…Right to the end, you are kept guessing, and the conclusion still has a surprise in store for you.” “the best modern Sherlock and Watson in books today…I highly recommend this book and the entire series, it’s a pure pleasure, full of fun and love, written with talent and brio…fabulous…brilliant” Optimumm Book Reviews

“This delightfully sudsy, colorful cast of characters would rival that of any daytime soap opera, and the character exchanges are rife with sass, wit and cagey sarcasm….As the pages turn quickly, the author keeps us hanging until the startling end.” Edge Media Network
