The chocolate sweets spill onto the pavement of a small parade of local shops—and go on a matchmaking tour like no other! From a bankrupt and betrayed baker, to a homeless but hopeful man, to a conceited bar owner in need of a reality check, and finally to the hapless but caring Donnie himself.

Review
I loved these feel good interconnected stories, and the way they were connected by not just the eggs but people too. I enjoy stories about communities where everyone knows someone someone else knows. I also loved the description of the eggs, and the way they make a break for it.
The different characters were very endearing and all going through their own brand of problems. I thought it was very clever the way the author used the eggs to bring people together. Each character was very different, and they all had their quirks, which I enjoyed reading about. I enjoyed the sweet romances too.
I found The Accidental Baker great for a pick-me-up, short, sweet read, and although it hits the spot nicely at Easter, it’s a story I’ll enjoy rereading at any time of the year. 5 out of 5 stars.
